BEFORE I ORDER

HOW DO I FIND MY SIZE? The most accurate way to find your ring size is to visit your local jeweler and asked to be sized. The next best alternative is to use a ring sizer. Ring sizers are a great way to accurately measure you ring size, you can purchase one here

UNIQUELY HANDMADE All pieces at Chelsea Leigh Jewelry are handmade by me. This means quantities may be limited and slight variations are to be expected and celebrated. Natural Gemstones used in designs may also vary in size, shape, and color.

PROCESSING & PRODUCTION TIME Current processing & production time is 10-12 business days. Please keep in mind that I am a small business and everything is uniquely handmade by me. Processing & Production time does not include shipping time.

SHIPPING

How long will it take for my jewelry to ship?
Most of my jewelry is made to order so please allow 10-12 business days for your jewelry to be processed and created. 
Once your order has been processed and produced (see current processing and production time in website header), your items will be sent via USPS or UPS. See estimated delivery times at checkout. 
Estimated delivery time does not include the time your item will take to be processed and produced.
 *U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail products and First-Class packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)impacts to the United States. See USPS updates here
Can I have something rushed?
If you need something in a hurry, please email me at heychelsealeigh@gmail.com before placing your order. I will be happy to discuss what could be available for expedited shipping.
Do you offer local pickup?
If you are local to the Charlotte, NC area and would like to arrange for local pickup, please email me at heychelsealeigh@gmail.com prior to placing your order to check availability for local pickup.
Can I change my shipping address?
If you need to change/correct your shipping address please reach out to me at heychelsealeigh@gmail.com ASAP. I am unable to redirect a parcel once a shipping label has been created. Please be sure to list an address where you will be able to receive your parcel or it is safe to leave unattended.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. I have no control over the delivery of your parcel once it has been shipped. Please be aware of national delays due to COVID 19 and the holidays.

 

What if my package is lost, stolen, or damaged? 
For your protection, please insure your package for the full purchase amount with Route. Lost, stolen, and/or damaged items that are not insured with Route will not be eligible for refunds or replacements. (please see Route FAQ here)

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER? You may change or cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase. Please email your request with your order number to heychelsealeigh@gmail.com

Returns
I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact me at heychelsealeigh@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, I'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages 
For your protection, please insure your package for the full purchase amount with Route. Packages that are lost, stolen or damaged and not insured with Route will not be eligible for refunds or replacements. (please see Route FAQ here)
Contact me immediately if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on live sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
Exchanges for a different size/length are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order ​(based on USPS/UPS timestamp date received). You will be responsible for shipping cost and subject to a small re-working fee. Please note that exchanges of custom items or one of a kind items (like gemstone pieces) are subject to availability of materials. If you are exchanging a gemstone piece, I will do my best to pick a new stone that closely resembles your original piece but I cannot guarantee I will be able to use the stone in your original piece.
Refunds
For your protection, please insure your package for the full purchase amount with Route. Packages that are lost, stolen or damaged and not insured with Route will not be eligible for refunds or replacements. (please see Route FAQ here)

You can file a one-click claim through the email that Route sends you after you check out, or you can file here
When you file a claim, it will be reviewed for approval for a reorder or refund within 24 hours.
If your order has defects or you suspect it was damaged during manufacturing, please reach out to me at heychelsealeigh@gmail.com and I will be happy to work with you to remedy the situation.
If you are returning an item, I will let you know when your return is accepted and then I will promptly approve your refund to the original payment method. Please know that refunds may take some time to show on your statements.

 

ABOUT THE JEWELRY

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED? Gold filled is a great alternative to solid gold jewelry. It is a pressure bonded layer of gold that has 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry. These characteristics make it a beautiful, durable, and economical alternative to solid gold, that will last years if cared for properly.

DOES YOUR JEWELRY CONTAIN NICKEL? No. All jewelry is nickel free.

WHY IS MY JEWELRY TARNISHING? Even the highest quality of metals will eventually become dull, dirty, and tarnish over time. This is natural and normal with an easy solution! See more about how to care for and clean your jewelry here

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY? Store your jewelry in a dry, air tight space away from any light. Take extra care around perspiration, chlorine, and other chemicals like lotions or perfumes. Occasionally clean your jewelry with warm water and dish soap, and polish with a polishing cloth. WHAT IF MY SKIN HAD A REACTION? Every person's body chemistry is different and can have different levels of sensitivity to metals. The materials used in Chelsea Leigh Jewelry are classified as hypoallergenic and discoloration/reactions are extremely rare.

REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS

DO YOU OFFER REPAIRS? Yes! Repair costs are dependent upon the type of the repair needed. Please email heychelsealeigh@gmail.com with your order number to request a repair.
